Version 2.2 of the SOLE toolkit is released on the 27th July 2011 and includes some amendments to the ‘overview’ and ‘weekly’ (or stage) views.
Additional space is provided for the identification of weekly (or stage) objectives, and for students to identify when they consider they have met that objective.
Columns have been provided to allow the objective for that week, and any directly associated learning outcome, to be identified to the student.
There is also an initial analysis on the overiew sheet of the nature of the students engagement, whether it relies on social interaction, facilitatation or is essentially individualistic. There is doubtless more work to do here, this is a first attempt to elicit collegial feedback.
